During lockdown, our Middle School students were encouraged by their Pastoral teachers to take care of themselves not only physically, but mentally as well. As part of this, students were encouraged to write an A-Z list of all the things they are grateful for. A-Z list of things I am grateful for:
Ayers
Rock- our national monument
Bored-ness- it drove me to do something
Care- from our families
Dogs- they are great companions
Excellence- putting in the best I have
Friends- give me support
Growth- growing bigger by the day
Happiness- our best way to live
Integrity- the quality of being honest
Jumping- exercise that somehow releases happy endorphins
Kids- we were all one and I’m thankful for a happy childhood
Life- the gift of being able to serve God and live your way
More- we all ask for it but I am grateful for what I do have
Nation- we live in a great, safe and secure country
Options- we can choose what we do in life
People- the great people around me
Questions- I can ask them when I need to
Respect/Rights- I have it and always will
Service- to help when I can
