KICKstart - Soccer

Term 2 & 4 only

We’re excited to offer the Simply Football KICKstart Soccer program to our Kings Baptist Grammar school Reception-Year 2 students. This program is an ideal way for your child to experience playing soccer and feel like part of a team. They’ll learn new skills in a nurturing and familiar environment on their own school grounds.

The KICKstart Soccer program focuses on teaching children the four core skills (first touch, 1 v 1, striking the ball and running with the ball) used in the game. The classes are fun, with loads of skill-based games and always finish with a soccer match.

KICKstart caters to boys and girls who are looking to improve their skills and feel like part of a team. They aim to be inclusive of all children and have the capacity to divide into groups, to best cater for beginners right through to elite players.

The KICKstart program has been designed to teach children about the game and give them an opportunity to develop their soccer skills in a safe, fun and professional environment. KICKstart coaches use the FFA National Curriculum as a guide for all activities they do with the children.
